Frau Karbach hat eine umfangreiche Datensammlung in vier brasilianischen Broilermastbetrieben durchgeführt. Die Studie wurde von Dr. Julio Cesar Pascale Palhares von der Sektion Environmental Impacts and Water Management in Livestock, Embrapa Livestock Southeast, Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, São Carlos, Brasilien unterstützt.
