ERDF funded infrastructure projects
Funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) enable us to further develop and improve the institute's research infrastructure.
At regional level, EU funds, supplemented by national funding, are provided for projects that will contribute to sustainable development. The decision on which projects are eligible is made by the German Länder. In the State of Brandenburg, ERDF funds are administered under the governance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (ERDF Management Authority). Since 1991, projects from the EU Structural Funds have been funded in the State of Brandenburg, in the funding period 2014-2020 in a total of 846 mio Euros.
