The 4th International INSECTA 2018 Conference will be held in Gießen on September 5-7, 2018. The conference aims to give an overview of the state-of-the-art of insect technology and the prospects. Technological, political and ethical aspects will be discussed.

INSECTA 2018 is jointly organized by Pilot Pflanzenöltechnologie Magdeburg e.V. (PPM) and Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB). This year, the LOEWE-Center and the Justus Liebig University Gießen are special partners and will host the conference.
The conference will focus on technical, commercial, ecological, political and ethical issues of insect utilization. The topic insect biotechnology will get special attention.
