Nov 5, 2014, Göttingen: The General Assembly of the German Agricultural Research Alliance (DAFA) elected Prof. Dr. Reiner Brunsch to the Board.
DAFA is a joint project of the German agricultural research institutions. The network aims to improve the efficiency, transparency and the international visibility of German agricultural research.
Other representatives in the DAFA board are Prof. Dr. Hannelore Daniel (TU Munich), Prof. Dr. Kay-Uwe Götz (LFL Bavaria), Prof. Dr. Hubert Wiggering (ZALF), Prof. Dr. Andreas Bertram (University of Osnabrück), Prof. Dr. Anna Maria Haring (HNEE) and Prof. Dr. Karl H. Mühling (CAU). Prof. Dr. Hubert Wiggering was confirmed by the new board as DAFA spokesman.
The meeting was held in conjunction with the Strategic Research Forum on November 4, 2014 at the University of Göttingen. The focus of the meeting with international speakers was the discussion of the foresight process was - possibilities of a structured perspective, in the socially relevant trends and technological developments should be thought through targeted to derive fields of action.
