Oct 23, 2014: A group of senior scientists from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) visited the ATB today. The visit focused on issues of research organization and research management.

In particular, the planning of research projects and the formation of research groups, questions concerning staff management and training, as well as technology transfer in the field of non-university research met the interest of the delegation.

The tour to the institute's wind tunnel, the pilot plant for fiber processing and the freshness laboratory, offered the opportunity to gain an insight into the research infrastructure at ATB. Dr. Yao Meng, currently visiting scientist from China in the ATB biogas research, accompanied the group.

The visit of the Chinese delegation at the ATB is part of a three-week training in Germany - conveyed by the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
