18 - 27 January 2013: At the International Green Week Berlin, ATB contributes with latest research developments to the exhibition special "Consumers and Agriculture - Common responsibility for people, animals and the environment" presented by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV).
The "freshness terminal" is an ATB innovation that, thanks to intelligent technology, will provide consumers when shopping with information about the current state of freshness of fruits and vegetables.
A new technology for microbial decontamination of plant surfaces - the treatment with cold plasma - is shown in the LeguAN project.
Moreover, ATB informs on the potentials of biochar from agricultural waste as a sustainable and climate-friendly soil additive.
