April 3-4, 2017: HTC 2017 - Possibilities and limits for feedstocks, processes and applications

The 1st International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonisation 'Possibilities and limits for feedstocks, processes and applications' will be held at Queen Mary University of London, UK, from 3-4 April 2017. The conference is co-organized by ATB scientist Dr. Judy Libra.

The Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonisation will bring together scientists, engineers and technologists from across academia and industry to learn about and debate the latest advances in hydrothermal carbon.

The programme will be composed of ONE SINGLE session accompanied by poster sessions over two days aimed at promoting collaborations and stimulate discussions including a set of keynote lectures focused on different applications of hydrothermal carbon materials ranging from bioenergy to agriculture and advanced materials for energy applications and catalysis.

Organisers of the conference are:

Prof. Magdalena Titirici - Queen Mary University of London

Prof. Nicole D. Berge - University of South Carolina, USA

Dr. Kyoung S. Ro - USDA-ARS Coastal Plains Soil, Water & Plant, USA

Dr. Sunny Bae - Seoul Women’s University, Korea

Dr. Judy Libra - Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy, Germany
