For this year's Girls' Day, the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering Potsdam-Bornim invites ten pupils in grades 7 to 9, to get an idea of ??possible career opportunities in a research.
What conditions should you bring to become a scientist? How the day-to-day research routine looks like? Scientists and technical staff provide insight into their working environments and answer questions about the scientific world - from research to facility management. Of course, it is also important to try scientific work in the laboratories themselves, to experiment and to collect their own data, whether in determining the quality of meat or the freshness of fruits and vegetables – in the milking laboratory.
The offer is aimed at girls in grades 7 to 9.
