3-4 Feb, 2021: FRUTIC Symposium, Malaysia (online)

Due to the Corona pandemic, the International FRUTIC Symposium 2020 had to be postponed to 2021. It will now be held together with the 5th International Conference on Agricultural and Food Engineering CAFEi2020. The conference will be held by Universiti Putra Malaysia virtually on February 3-4, 2021 as a joint conference with FRUTIC 2020 Symposium by ATB-Postdam.

This three-day event will feature recent findings from scientists, engineers, researchers, government authorities, academicians, economies, architects, journalist and entrepreneurs in the field, in the form of oral and poster presentation.

FRUTIC provides the platform for research network on emerging technologies or current issues in the industry. Topics capture technology advancement in production, harvest, postharvest, distribution and quality control of fruit, nut, and vegetables. This event is to provide a concerted platform that brings together academic scientists and all the role players from fresh produce industry, to interact with each other for the purpose of information dissemination, sharing practical experience and developing road maps for the most effective way to reach the common goals. The conference was previously held in USA, Japan, Europe and Latin America. Two times FRUTIC took place in cooperation with FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin, Germany and the last one took place in Hong Kong together with ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA.
