On 19 June 2024, after a break of almost 5 years, our field day finally took place again at the ATB Marquardt campus. The Fieldlab for digital agriculture opened its doors and invited visitors to take a tour of the field. "We are pleased to be able to look back on a very successful event," summarises Dr Benjamin Trost, Head of the experimental station. Over 60 visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the current research of the ATB and our cooperation partners in the field of digitalisation of plant and horticulture at 10 different stations.

Our dedicated researchers vividly presented their projects on the topics of sensor technology in plant and horticulture, data acquisition and management strategies and were available to answer guests' questions. Lively discussions and direct dialogue provided an in-depth insight into the diverse activities and innovative approaches of our field lab for digital agriculture.

After this informative morning, a small snack provided the opportunity to exchange ideas, clarify open questions and make new contacts. The weather also played along: Despite the thunderstorms the evening before, the morning remained grey but dry, which made the conditions ideal for the event.

We would like to thank all our guests for their visit and the interesting dialogue and look forward to seeing you again at one of our next events.
