August 1, 2014: The ATB offers young people training and orientation, whether in the context of a professional or scholastic training or as part of a voluntary social year in science, technology and sustainability. Today, three trainees start their professional career at the ATB.
As of today, three young people start their professional training at the ATB: Jana Neitzel and Rieke Naase are being trained to be assistant for office management. They are supported not only by the administrative staff, colleagues from the departments will also pass on their knowledge to them.
Matthias Ulrich will learn the profession of an industrial mechanic in the ATB central workshop.
Eric Schulze also will learn and work in the workshop and in other technical labs. He will collect practical experience at the institute as part of its vocational baccalaureate diploma for the period of one year.
Furthermore, we are welcoming three new colleagues at the ATB in September, students undertaking a voluntary social year in Science, Technology and Sustainability (FJN) at the ATB. They will be working in the areas of programming and implementation of sensors, biochar and quality and safety of protein-rich foods.
