Summary
Intelligent and Flexible Irrigation Control System
The aim of the project is the design and development of an intelligent and flexible irrigation control system, using automatic decentralised data processing. Furthermore the components and systems will possess a high flexibility and adaptability to satisfy the variety of agricultural and horticultural utilisations.
The project covers the following points: conceptional draft of the intelligent irrigation system; development of a communication model; sensor, actor and software interface definition; robust mechanical design for deployment under agricultural field conditions; testing and demonstrating of the practical suitability.
