Summary
The junior research group Bio4Act pursues the vision of producing high-quality activated carbons, platform chemicals and energy sources from previously unused residual biomass from landscape conservation. This should not only replace fossil raw materials with biogenic equivalents and additionally develop renewable energy sources, but at the same time make a sustainable contribution to the preservation of valuable ecosystems.
