"The future of bioeconomy is international" - this is the titel of Prof Barbara Sturm's endnote at the German-Australian Symposium Bioeconomy and Circular Economy – Tackling Global Challenges on a Global Scale".
This free online event will be held 20-21 September 2021 and is hosted jointly by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) IC Sydney, the Australia-Germany Research Network AGRN and the German Embassy, Canberra..
The symposium will bring together German and Australian researchers and stakeholders from universities, research organisations, funding agencies, industry and government to discuss current challenges and opportunities for German-Australian research cooperation in the field of Bioeconomy/Circular Economy. The program includes high-profile keynote speakers, as well as expert panels discussing industry-research linkages, funding mechanisms, international and national cooperation and German/Australian-specific strategic approaches. Opportunities for individual or group networking with expert researchers and Q&A sessions with the keynote speakers and panellists form an important part of the program.
