The 39th Annual Meeting of the Society for Computer Science in the Agriculture, Forestry and Food Industry (GIL) will be held in Vienna, 18 to 19 February 2019, under the existing paradigm of digitization with a focus on small-scale regions. 

For the first time the GIL conference takes place outside of Germany - this time, research institutes from Austria, South Tyrol and Switzerland are more involved in the planning of the meeting. As always, practice partners will be involved, giving the opportunity for discussion and knowledge transfer.

Official Language of the meeting is German, anyhow contributions in English language are welcome.
