January 17th 2025: GFFA 2025 Expert panel

As part of the GFFA, ATB is organising an expert panel with the title "Unlocking Systemic Inoovations for a Sustainable Bioeconomy".

In this session, we will explore what makes innovations succeed or fail, with a focus on blue and green bioeconomy:

What is a supportive environment for innovations?
How can co-creation and bidirectional science communication foster successful innovations?

What is the role of data in assessing and promoting these innovations.

Join us in discussing how we can foster a mindset shift towards systemic sustainability!

The session is organized by members of the Leibniz Lab for Systemic Sustainability, an initiative of the Leibniz Association. It synthesizes cutting-edge research, focusing on the intricate relationships between biodiversity, climate, pollution, agriculture, and food to enable transformation for systemic sustainability. With its interdisciplinary expertise, the Lab identifies amongst others innovation areas and specific innovations for systemic sustainability, as well as possible levers to upscale these. The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) and the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) are coordinating this work within the Lab.
