In a joint project together with producers and processors, ATB is currently developing a method for the fully mechanized harvesting of cucumbers. The aim is to reduce the picking time by up to 50 percent and to support the manual picking with the help of the so called "gherkin flyer".
The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
