19th June 2013: For his master thesis "Modeling and energetic optimization of an industrial heat pump dryer for medicinal plants" Hasan Jubaer was awarded by the Friends of the University of Bremerhaven at a ceremony in Bremerhaven.
The prize is endowed with 1,500 euros. It is awarded annually to outstanding master and bachelor thesis. With the award the Friends of the University of Bremerhaven encourage studies on thechnologies that have high potential for transfer into practice.
Hasan Jubaer completed his studies at Hochschule Bremerhaven early 2012. His research on drying of medicinal plants was carried out at the ATB under the scientific supervision of Dr.-Ing Thomas Ziegler. Supervisor at the Bremerhaven University was Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wilfried Schütz.
Since January 2012, Hasan Jubaer is scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering Potsdam. He works in the field of energy efficient and gentle drying methods in the context of the ATB research program "Quality and safety of food and feed".
