Learning, exercising, cooking and socialising together. These were the aims of the Health Day, the successor to the Exercise Day, now focussing on healthy eating and self-management in addition to sport.
At the joint kick-off in the morning, Alice Hohn, Administrative Director at ATB, set the mood for the day with an entertaining programme presentation. Then it was time to get moving: event manager Josefine Karl invited everyone to a classic line dance. Only a few fled back to their offices.

Our company doctor, Dr Schmalenbach, presented up-to-date knowledge in her talk on "Healthy eating" and encouraged people to eat the right foods. A surprising statistic revealed that almost half of our food ends up in the shopping trolley because of its flavour!
Techniker Krankenkasse offered an online lecture on the topic of time and self-management, which was also followed together in the large hall. The topic was how to use your smartphone - and how best to leave it in your pocket regularly - paired with a short relaxation session to join in.
Exercise and enjoyment: hands-on activities by and for ATB employees
In keeping with the ATB team spirit, colleagues also hosted a series of exciting hands-on activities:
- Self-defence - Jiu Jitsu
- Line dancing
- Information on online training courses
- Workshop: Goals & Motivation
- Running group
- Eating and cooking together
Alice Hohn is delighted with the commitment and interest: "It's great that we were able to put together such a varied programme. We would like to thank our colleagues and course leaders for their commitment and everyone who organised in the background. I'm already looking forward to the next joint activities organised by and for our employees."
