Jan 15–24, 2016: ATB is presenting innovative and sensor-based technologies for precision horticulture as a part of BMEL exhibition. Concepts for the adaptation of barn climate on climate change - for animal welfare and efficiency in dairy farming - is shown in the exhibition area "stable".

Precision horticulture is increasingly in focus in Germany. ATB developed a sensor-based and real-time capable system for an individual tree blossom thinning for the cultivation of fruit trees. The presented project "SmaArt", that optimize crop yield in commercial fruticulture, raise interest among the visitors as well as the new plant sensors for precise irrigation management, which collect data in the orchard directly from plant and fruit.
