Summary
The project focuses on the development of previously unexploited oil-flax straw (Linum usitatissimum) into high-quality end products in a local and international context. In addition to agricultural and engineering aspects, socioeconomic and environmental issues in the target region of Altai are also considered. The aim is to develop and / or modify machinery and processes for the supply and processing of oil-flax straw on the basis of the previous research and development work at ATB, and to contribute to the development of an QM system for semi-finished products. Particular attention is paid to the specific environmental and production conditions as well as their influence on the resulting material properties.
