Summary
The targeted use of crop protection agents as required according to the occurrence of pests requires sensor-supported monitoring of the crop fields. The project aims to develop sensor-based methods that enable automated monitoring for precise crop protection in the field. Preferably, these methods will be developed for cereals and potatoes, which are cultivated in both countries primarily for food and feed. Both partners have been working for years in the field of precision crop protection, which is expected to lead to synergy effects for promising solutions.
