Summary
The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and the Faculty of Agriculture and Horticulture of the Humboldt University launch the Leibniz Graduate School "LandPaKT". The 7 PhD projects will analyse and model the most promising options to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from different agricultural activities, e.g. livestock husbandry, adapted use of organic soils and carbon sequestration in soils as well as legislative options. The combined results will be used to recommend applicable measures to farm operators as well as to politicians.
The project is funded by the Leibniz Association in the context of the "Joint Initiative for Research and Innovation".
