Summary
Half of Germanys land is used for agriculture, about 70% of which is arable land. A massive decline in both biodiversity and abundance can be observed, especially on intensively used agricultural land. The current political framework programs and funding projects are aimed at sustainable, digital agriculture with resource-conserving management. This requires suitable technologies from the fields of sensor technology and remote sensing, smart farming or automation and robotics. Against this background, an overview of current and future agricultural technologies will first be compiled within the framework of this project on the basis of an Internet and literature search with the aim of analyzing the effects of current and future technologies and processes with regard to the habitat requirements and biology of selected animal species groups and developing avoidance measures of negative influences.
