The state of Brandenburg has published a new climate guide as a central orientation tool for climate research and cooperation. Initiated by the former Ministry for the Environment, Agriculture and Climate Protection and developed by the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) Potsdam, the guide is intended to strengthen cooperation between science, politics, business and civil society in order to achieve Brandenburg's climate targets by 2045. ATB has also contributed to this important project and made its research visible in the climate guide.
The climate guide offers:
- Presentation of Brandenburg's research institutions:
The relevant research institutions and projects are presented based on the ten thematic fields of the Brandenburg Climate Plan. - List of institutions
An alphabetical list of Brandenburg's research institutions in the field of climate protection with their respective central links to the subject areas. - Digital map
An interactive visualisation of research expertise in Brandenburg and Berlin, available on the website of the Climate Change Center Berlin Brandenburg.
The guide not only serves as a contact point for politics, administration and business, but also as a platform for scientists to exchange ideas, network and develop joint research initiatives. In this way, it should also help to bring innovative solutions into practice more quickly.
The Brandenburg Climate Guide is now available as a printed brochure and as a PDF file (German version) and offers a valuable resource for anyone interested in climate research and climate protection in the region. The interactive map is available on the website of the Climate Change Centre Berlin Brandenburg.
