Summary
The interdisciplinary research network sustainable food production and healthy nutrition is an interdisciplinary research structure which addresses scientifically the societal challenges sustainable production and healthy nutrition and their interactions with the purpose to transfer knowledge and results. The member institutes offer expertise in their primary fields of research and competence on all relevant levels in the system. The research network aims to work out system-oriented scientific foundations to meet the challenge sustainable food production and healthy nutrition in its complexity and on all system levels. In so doing it aims to provide the society with scientifically well-founded and systemically checked action recommendations.
